Schenker Storen takes continuing education seriously – as part of its corporate culture and as a key to quality in customer relations. But even established formats occasionally need a fresh external perspective to continue having an impact.
That’s why Thomas Rykart, in collaboration with vE Bildungsexzellenz, conducted an assessment of the existing training day. Through a partnership-based exchange at eye level, strengths were highlighted – and potential areas for improvement were specifically identified.

The collaboration was characterized by collegial openness, where appreciation and critical dialogue met on equal footing. This constructive exchange – appreciative yet challenging – made it possible to question entrenched structures and provide bold impulses for further development.
The joint reflection has already led to the first targeted improvements:
- A concise communication of objectives at the start of the event now provides clear orientation and strengthens participants’ self-responsibility.
- More than half of the content is now conveyed through activating, dialogue-oriented formats – such as workshops, reflection sessions, and interactive group work.
- A pre-event thought impulse gets participants thinking even before they enter the room – a simple method with great effect.

In addition, the use of an adaptive learning approach is under evaluation. Thanks to AI, individual learning paths can be created that respond to prior knowledge, pace, and learner needs – a major advantage, especially in heterogeneous groups with diverse experience levels.
“The external perspective helped us to question what exists – and to boldly develop new ideas. The possibilities presented to us by vE Bildungsexzellenz through their AI-based solutions open up new perspectives for modern, individually tailored learning at Schenker Storen.”

What distinguishes this collaboration: it doesn’t stop at recommendations – it supports the transfer into practice. With experience, empathy, and practical tools.
